Meet the men of Project Brotherhood. Dr. Bonnie Thomas, Michael B. Woods, Craig Spivey and Marcus Murray provide free health care for African American men. Their organization not only dishes out healthcare, but strives to bring health into ALL areas of a black man's life. Run by a group of dedicated mentors, this program provides extensive character education tools with emphasis on developing an aptitude for academic progression and strategies that promote emotional maturity in males.

They help youth develop critical thinking skills, while increasing basic reading competency. Their organization focuses on reading & creative writing programs, geared toward increasing literacy through the Arts.

(CEF), founded by Dr Sharon Rabb,   was first introduced to the San Bernardino and Los Angeles Counties as a response to African American families wanting to form marital relationships and to strengthen existing marriages. Tackling issues from out-of-wedlock births to high divorce rates, The Center for the Empowerment of Families makes strengthening the black family its priority.
